Walk Up

A middle aged man, cinema director, decides to visit with his daughter (who he hasn't seen in years) a building that it's the property of an interior designer woman. The goal is that her daughter learns about it since she wants to study interiorism. The designer starts showing them floor by floor all the renovations she's done and the three of them discover all the rooms.

Directing and writing the movie is Korean filmmaker Hong Sang-soo, who's behind titles like 'Right Now, Wrong Then', 'The Woman Who Ran', 'The day after' and 'Night and Day'. He's received 59 awards, among them from the Berlin International Film Festival, the San Sebastian Festival, the Gijón Festival, the Rotterdam Festival and the Asian Film Awards. Produced by Jeonwonsa Film, the cast is made up by Hae-hyo Kwon, Lee Hye-yeong, Song Seon-mi, Yun-hee Cho, Mi-so Park, Seok-ho Sin and Lee Hyeyoung.

Kwon, who plays the father, had already collaborated with the director in 'The day after' and has been in films like 'Peninsula', 'Omaju' and 'Hotel by the River'. Hye-yeong is the interior designer and has worked in titles like 'In Front of Your Face', 'The Novelist's Film' and the show 'Madeo'. The daughter is Seon-mi, who's acted in other projects like 'On the beach at night alone' and 'Private Life'.
