Plot
Japanese director Naomi Kawase regular in festivals and certaims like International Film Festival of Cannes and San Sebastián International Film Festiva (Spain), comes back to the big screen with 'Vision'.
'Vision' is the director's first collaboration with a non-asian actor.
The film is located on the Japanese prefecture of Nara, Kawase's province of birth, and has the Oscar winner by 'The English Patient' Juliette Binoche and Masatoshi Nagase, regular actor for this director, as protagonists. Binoche plays a French essayist, who arrives in Nara, where she meets Nagase's character, a man with whom she will connect right away in spite of the barriers between them, such as language and culture.
