Regina (Paulina Goto, 'Vencer el miedo', 'El vuelo de la Victoria') has always yearned for the life of a traditional housewife. After spending a considerable amount of time searching for "the one", she finds love and sets about getting married to seal her happily ever after. With her handsome husband and dream home, everything seems like a fairy tale until, one day, the tension between them reaches a boiling point and they seek a divorce.

Now single, Regina will have to rethink her previous ideals and learn to deal with paying rent, finding a job and everything else that modern adulthood entails. As her journey develops, Regina is exposed to independence and the joys that come with finding strength and contentment within yourself.

'Veinteañera, divorciada y fantástica' is a Mexican comedy directed by Noé Santillán-López ('El Diez', 'Purasangre') and written by Jose Manuel Flandes ('Los Pecados de Bárbara'), Angélica Gudiño ('Treintona, Soltera y Fantástica', 'Inquilinos') and José Alberto López ('Sr. Ávila', 'Paramedicos'). Joining the cast are Jesús Zavala ('Club of Crows', 'La Boda de Valentina'), Vadhir Derbez ('How to be a Latin Lover', 'Sense8'), Ela Velden ('Rubí', ' The Game of Keys') and Natalia Téllez ('Logout', '40 y 20').
