Vagabond

The story begins with the discovery of the corpse of a young woman frozen in a ditch during the winter months. Her name was Mona (Sandrine Bonnaire) and thanks to several flashbacks and small interviews arranged as in a documentary, we know some details of her life and the people who knew her in her last weeks of life. Its authentic nature will remain a mystery throughout the plot but it will be discovered that she was a distant, independent woman who preferred to move from one place to another without seeking help from anyone. Some of these moments are her passage through a grape harvest where she fell in love, an old mansion in which she smoked hashish with an unknown man or an evening with an old woman with whom she got drunk.
