Urubú

Tomás is an impulsive ornithologist and photographer who tries to boost his career trying to photograph an albino urubú, never seen in the wild, aware of his professional failure and tired of his mediocre life. The urubú are a scavenger bird of prey with shiny black plumage. So he drags his family to the Amazon jungle to relaunch his career. Eva his wife, with a broken relationship, who tries to get back the man she fell in love with. And his daughter, Andrea, an adolescent automaton absorbed by new technologies. Photographing the urubú becomes secondary when Andrea disappears and the trip turns into a nightmare. Their search leads Tomás and Eva to a secret and mysterious territory. Entering that world will have serious consequences. A paradisiacal environment becomes the scene of terror. A danger that lurks and that forces them to fight not to lose what they love the most.

The film is directed by Alejandro Ibáñez and starring Carlos Urrutia. Produced by Prointel, which is the company of Chicho Ibáñez Serrador, father of the director of 'Urubú' and creator of resounding television hits such as 'Historias para no dormir', 'Waku Waku', 'Hablemos de sexo' or the mythical 'Un, dos, tres?
