Unwelcome

Maya and Jamie are a young London couple awaiting the arrival of their first child. When they inherit a house in rural Ireland, they decide to take the opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle and dangers of the big city. However, what awaits them in their new home is worse than what they were fleeing from... An evil presence in the form of murderous goblins has been living for decades in the ancient forest that borders their new garden. Maya and Jaime decide to move in despite it all and begin the renovation, but what they find when the work begins will be a nightmare. The young woman on the verge of giving birth will be targeted by the malicious goblins, leading her to risk her own life in order to save that of her family: her partner and the child they are expecting.

Director and screenwriter Jon Wright is behind 'Unwelcome', which he co-writes with Mark Stay. It is produced by Piers Tempest, produced behind 'Emily'. Hannah John-Kamen is Maya, while Douglas Booth is Jamie. The rest of the cast includes Colm Meaney, Kristian Nairn, Chris Walley, Niamh Cusack, Finbar Lynch, Rick Warden, Lalor Roddy, Paul Blackwell, Caskey Brown, Mark Desvaux, Ania Marson, Jamie-Lee O'Donnell, Sarah Madigan, Bradley Turner and Paul Warren.
