United States of Love

Situated in 1990's Poland. The winds of change are blowing in the country. The euphoric year of freedom, but also of uncertainty. That year it's when four apparently women decide to change their lives. They will fight for their happiness and fulfill their desires. Agata (Julia Kijowska) is a young mother and unhappy marriage she refuges in another impossible relationship. Renata (Dorota Kolak) is an older teacher who feels attached for her neighbor Marzena (Marta Nieradkiewicz), whose husband works in Germany. Iza (Magdalena Cielecka), is Marzena's sister and she is a teacher too and she is in love with the father of one of her students. The film was awarded for the best script in The Berlin International Film Festival of 2016.
