Oscar and Teo are two brothers aged 13 and 10, very different from each other who live in a small apartment in a modest neighborhood. It is summer in 1989 and while Teo is dedicated to playing football, in a somewhat aggressive way, Oscar who is a little know-it-all prefers to spend evenings in his room studying the theory of relativity. What is not expected is that together they will have to deal with the disappearance of their mother, a scientist obsessed with wormholes.

This movie is an imaginative and moving adventure, that wants to entertain all the family. The film adapts a short-film named 'Einstein-Rosen', from the same director.

'Un pasado por delante' is the first film directed by Olga Osorio, who has so far only worked on short films. She, along with Araceli Gonda ('Hierro') sign the script of the film starring Tamar Novas ('The disorder you leave', 'Fariña'), Marta Nieto ('Madre', 'Feria') and Mario Santos ('Alba', 'Cuéntame cómo pasó'). The movie is produced by Vaca Films.

Olga Osorio talked about what she wants to tell with '¡Salta!': "the movie is about the relationship between two brothers, probably one of the most special to ever exist, and algo about how difficult can be to understand and communicate with the people we love the most".
