Un día gris, un día azul, igual al mar

Carmen is a young gypsy who lives in one of the suburbs of Granada. On a daily basis, she spends her time taking care of her sick parents and attending to a curse where she learn how to assist older people in a proper way. In addition, she is in love with another woman, Sheila, an unknown relationship to her family and community.

'Un día gris, un día azul, igual al mar' is a documentary directed by the Argentines sisters Luciana and Melina Terribili. It gives testimony of the Spanish gypsy women way of life and, at the same time, it allows the audience to see the relationship's development between these two women, which over time experiences wear due to the secrecy they are forced to follow and the lack of future perspective.
