Un cel de plom

Neus Català, a young feminist republican woman, returns to France in 1945 after the liberation of the Nazi camps after being imprisoned by the German army in Ravensbrück. While trying to regain her life in freedom, she recalls the events she experienced a year earlier, when a group of women, who were known as El Comando de Gandulas, sabotaged in Czechoslovakia the bullet production factory where the Nazis made them work. But despite being free, Neus Català's resistance has only just begun, as she begins her struggle for memory.

Miquel Romans directs the film, co-scripted with Lydia Zimmermann based on the book by Carme Martí, creating a recreation of the life of Neus Català Pallejà, the Spanish politician who was a member of the Unified Socialist Youth of Catalonia during the Spanish Civil War. Nausicaa Bonnín, an actress known for Spanish films such as 'The Body' or 'Three Days with the Family', stars in the film playing the young politician. She is accompanied in the cast by Iria del Río, Rachel Lascar, Fernando Corral, Daniel Horvath, Pep Ferrer, Joaquín Caserza, Natascha Wiese, Laura Conejero, Natàlia Barrientos, Arnaud Préchac, Christiane Dollmann, Roger Batalla, Ava Geralis, Núria Adrián Campbell, Adriana Galo, Hans Richter and Kasia Kapcia.
