The film directed by Xacio Baño focuses on Carme, an introverted and lonely young woman who lives with her parents in a small and hidden village in Galicia. Her mother is sick and Carme hardly speaks with their parents. The main protagonist works as a baker, but she is tired of her life, and she just wants to escape from there. One day her world changes when she receives great news: She has been accepted to work in a hotel from the city. This change in his life takes place at a time of festivities in the area where she lives. "Rapa das Bestas" is a popular festivity based on cutting the horse's mane.
