After the death of his mother, Pepe (Roger Casamajor) returns to Alcastrer, a village on the Lleida plain, with Joan (Pep Cruz), his father. After discovering that his shed had been burgled, the two join a group of neighbours who keep watch over the land. At first, Joan's presence there is not to their liking, although they end up accepting it when they see that his son will accompany him. During their watch, they both encounter a thief. The story is based on the novel of the same name by Rafael Vallbona, in which the reader is invited to reflect on the extent to which it is legitimate to take the law into our own hands. It has been nominated for Best Film at the 2022 Gaudí Awards, given by the Acadèmia del Cinema Català.

It was directed by Pau Calpe Rufat. In addition to Casamajor and Cruz, the cast includes Montserrat Miralles, Montserrat Trepat, Eduard Muntada, Ramón Bonvehí, Miquel Miralbés, Xavi Iglesias and Paco Pujol.
