Trap

A father and his teenage daughter are preparing to spend a family night attending a pop music concert. However, everything will take a turn when they discover that they are involved in a terrifying and disturbing event that features the girl's father, a killer who will realize it is a trap to catch him.

'The Trap' is the new feature film by M. Night Shyamalan, known for famous suspense fictions like 'The Sixth Sense', 'The Village', and 'Unbreakable'. After 'Knock at the Cabin', his latest feature film, the creator of 'Split' and 'Old' teams up with Josh Hartnett, who we have seen in 'Pearl Harbor', 'Lucky Number Slevin', and 'Oppenheimer', and makes his daughter Saleka debut in acting. The rest of the cast includes Hayley Mills ('You to Boston and Me to California'), Marnie McPhail ('Star Trek: First Contact'), and Vanessa Smythe ('Pieces of a Woman').

This time, the music is once again handled by Herdís Stefánsdóttir, and the cinematography is the responsibility of Thai Sayombhu Mukdeeprom, known for being in charge of this task in some of Luca Guadagnino's works ('Call Me by Your Name', 'Suspiria', and 'Rivals') and Apichatpong Weerasethakul's ('Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives' and 'Memoria').
