Affected by the mysterious disappearance of her eccentric and adventurous father when she was just a teenager, the young Lara Croft spends her life working as a courier in London. Lara, determined to build her own life and to follow her own path, decides to refuse to take the reins of the business empire created by her father, also refusing the idea that her father is gone forever. Given the situation, Lara decides to leave behind her current life and venture to the last known whereabouts of her father: A mysterious island on the coast of Japan where a legendary tomb is located. But your task will not be simple. Lara will have to face the numerous challenges that await her on the island, having to know and test her limits while entering the unknown.

Warner Bros Pictures and Metro Goldwyn Mayer produce this new installment of Tomb Raider adapting the videogame developed by Crystal Dynamics in 2013. Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander ('The Danish Girl') puts herself in the shoes of Lara Croft under the direction of Roar Uthaug ('The Wave') and accompanied by Walton Goggins ('The Hateful Eightt'), Daniel Wu ('Into the Badlands') and Kristen Scott Thomas ('The English Patient').
