Plot
This Norwegian film is based on real events. Titina' tells the adventure of an expedition that travels by hot air balloon to the North Pole during the 1920's. On board are the Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen and the Italian-born aviator Umberto Nobile. Nobile is accompanied by someone very special and without knowing it, she will become the most important crew member of the trip: his pet Titina.
The Italian rescued his dog Titina from the streets of Rome and since then he has been accompanying her everywhere, including, of course, this great trip with which they are going to make history. However, after covering themselves with glory by being the only people to reach the last place on Earth that had not yet been traveled to, both Umberto Nobile and Roald Amundsen begin to fight for the recognition of glory, which will cause several problems between them.
This Norwegian animated film is directed and scripted by Kajsa Næss, with Per Schreiner assisting with the screenplay. The main cast includes Jan Gunnar Røise, Anne Marit Jacobsen, Ingar Helge Gimle, Kåre Conradi, John F. Brungot, Thorbjørn Harr, Christian Skolmen and Silje Torp among others.
The film is produced by Mikrofilm and Vivi Film and is distributed by Alfa Pictures.
