Tin & Tina

After a tragic miscarriage in which she loses the babies she was expecting, Lola also loses her faith in God. Intending to recover it, she goes with her husband Adolfo to a convent of nuns, where they meet Tin and Tina, two angelic seven-year-old twin siblings to whom she feels a strange attraction. Although her husband does not feel the same way, they both decide to adopt them and give them a house. The siblings have had an ultra-Catholic upbringing that leads them to interpret Bible passages in a literary form, failing to distinguish right from wrong. Little by little, Lola becomes growingly suspicious of the children and obsessed with the macabre religious games they devise.

Rubin Stein, the filmmaker behind short such films as 'Bailaora' and 'Handsome Devil', is now behind the camera and the screenplay for this feature debut, which is based on his short film of the same name, which was nominated for the French Méliès critics' prize for best European fantasy short film. The film stars Jaime Lorente ('Moneyheist', 'Élite') and Milena Smit ('Parallel Mothers'). On the other hand, Anastasia Russo plays Tina, while Carlos González Morollón plays Tin. The rest of the cast includes Ruth Gabriel, Teresa Rabal, Luis Perezagua, and Ana Blanco de Córdova.
