'Tigre' is the first work of the Argentine director Silvina Schnicer and the Spanish director Ulises Porra Guardiola. The film is set in the beautiful and mesmerizing landscape of the Delta del Tigre, where there will be a series of family dramas, territorial conflicts and stories about his characters. All this, in addition, will be bathed not only by the waters of the Tigre River but by a certain fantasy halo. The ultimate goal of the filmmakers is to make a global reflection on the attachment or detachment of people with their roots, with their place of origin.
The film, under that backdrop of melodramas and conflict situations, will end up essentially addressing the problem of family reunions and reunions. The film will initially tell the story of two friends, one of whom owns a house in the middle of the Delta el Tigre wetland. Thus, both will decide to reunite some members of their families, among which is the son of one of them, with whom it intends to meet again. The meeting will also be attended by neighbors and friends, and together they will spend a season there as a claim and protest to deny the passage to the machines of an ambitious real estate that intends to urbanize the area at the expense of the site's wildlife, as well as the housing that occupy it now.
