Plot
The plot revolves around Alvin, an ex-convict who has just been released from prison and is on probation. Upon his release, he manages to find a job as an assistant in a metalworking shop in Staten Island and tries to avoid any situations that could come back to haunt him, such as associating with people from his past or drawing attention in public, but inadvertently and without seeking it, he soon begins to encounter problems.
His mother contacts him after many years of silence and asks for a big favor. She has no money and urgently needs it to pay a bail that is pending. Alvin, being a good son, will strive to find a way to help his mother despite the consequences that may arise.
