Cat change
Since 'Things to Come' is based upon the life of Mia Hansen-Løve's mother, the director asked her to approve the script before the filming began. The only thing her mother asked to change was the cat's name. In the original script, it was called Desdemona, just like the real cat, but Hansen-Løve's mother asked to change it to Pandora to respect the cat's privacy.
