Plot
Directed by Richard Fleischer, written by Alfred Hayes and starring Don Murray, Richard Egan, Patricia Owens and Jean Willes. Based on 1956 novel 'These Thousand Hills', by A.B. Guthrie Jr. Albert Gallatin 'Lat' Evans is a young cowboy who wants to improve his personal and economic situation. Therefore, he gets a job in a working unit of a herd dedicated to sell wild horses. Gradually, he settled in the town in Wisconsin. One day he meets a young woman who works at the local pub. However Lat is unknown what the girl is related to one of their leaders tyrants. When he finds out the intentions of Lat, will make every effort to make life impossible for the cowboy. This will cause both decide dueling with a horse race. Who will win?
