Thelma

Thelma is a young student who has to move to Oslo leaving her family in a small Norwegian town in order to continue studying. The young girl has always lived her life based on religion, but in the capital city she will perform some discoveries that will break everything she knew. Thelma begins to feel attraction to a classmate, Anja, which begins to undermine everything she has hidden below her subconscious. Thelma's feelings start to express as strange psychic abilities that grow stronger every day, and she will have to face her own mind and a dark secret from her past. 'Thelma' is Norwegian director and screenwriter Joachim Trier's forth film. He was also responsible for 'Louder Than Bombs'.
