Plot
Maria is looking for somewhere to hide in a mysterious house in Chile after escaping a religious German sect. Once she's there, she meets two pigs that take her in. The universe of the house is feeling the the same way that the the girl does. The animals start transforming in humans and little by little the house become a complete nightmare.
The movie is made in stop-motion style and its directors, Cristóbal León and Joaquín Cociña, were inspired by the Colonia Dignidad case, a torture place during Pinochet's dictatorship. Even though it's a fairytale, the final income is dark, with gothic references and psychological horror. The production process of the movie happened during a series of exhibitions where the directors moved the workshop to various exhibition spaces. That way, the viewers were capable of watching the development of the production, like a piece in constant change through the filming.
