Plot
Set in the 1930s in New England, it is a family of Christian settlers composed of parents and their five children. Living near a forest which, according to belief, there are forces of witchcraft, black magic and possessions. Suddenly, her youngest child, newborn, disappears without any signs of life while picking living is growing. This causes them fight with each other, coming to accuse his daughter of witch, something she dennies while in the woods a supernatural force is preparing to attack them. The Satanic Temple has approved this film and hosted several screenings of the film. His spokesman, Jex Blackmore spoke about the film as "A stunning presentation of satanic vision that inform contemporary discussion of religious experience"
The premise is based on America's first witch hysteria in colonial New England, set 62 years before the infamous "Salem Witch Trials" which occurred in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Stephen King, who is often called the "master of horror", has stated that he was terrified by this film.
