Plot
The theme of the story: the struggle between God and the Devil. Angela Holmes (Olivia Taylor Dudley) is a young woman of 27 years old with a quiet life. Everything begins to change when she begins to make very dangerous and deadly actions against herself and the people around her. Holmes begins to suspect she's a victim of demonic possession, so she decides to call the Vatican to make her an exorcism. Possession in the young girl is complicated: the satanic force that inhabits it is as old as immensely powerful force. Father Lozano (Michael Pena) is the only one who can save her.
Mark Neveldine directed the film, director expert in sequels (Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance', 'Crank 2' and 'Crank 3'), for whom 'The Vatican Tapes' is his first foray into the horror genre.
