The Three Musketeers: Milady

After raising more than 30 million euros internationally with 'The Three Musketeers', and produced by Dimitri Rassam ('The Little Prince') and Pathé Films (the 'Asterix and Obelix' franchise, 'Notre-Dame Burns') in co-production with DeAPlaneta, Constantin Films and M6 Films, 'The Three Musketeers: Milady' follows the exciting adventure of The Three Musketeers where d'Artagnan left off to complete this great adaptation of the most famous French adventure novel of all times, written by Alexandre Dumas.

Like its predecessor, it is directed by filmmaker Martin Bourboulon (responsible for hits such as 'Eiffel' and 'Daddy or Mom') and written by the screenwriting duo Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la patellière. The BAFTA winner and Golden Globe nominee Eva Green ('Casino Royale', 'Dark Shadows'), emerges as the protagonist of this story that once again features the renowned French actors Vincent Cassel, Romain Duris, Pio Marmaï and François Civil, as Dumas's emblematic musketeers.

Reprising their respective roles as king and queen of France are the actor and filmmaker Louis Garrel and the actress originally from Luxembourg and winner of the European Film Award for best actress in 2022, Vicky Krieps. And we also meet Lyna Khoudri, who plays Constance Bonacieux, and Eric Ruf, as the manipulative Cardinal Richelieu.

Since its publication 178 years ago, 'The Three Musketeers' remains one of the most famous and appreciated adventure novels in the world. Through its iconic characters, from D'Artagnan, Athos, Aramis and Porthos, to Cardinal Richelieu and his spy Milady de Winter, the novel has permeated popular culture. The values of loyalty and camaraderie embodied by the heroes of this story have contributed to the dissemination of the work through successive eras and generations.
