The Teacher

François Foucault (Denis Podalydès) is forty years old and works as a literature teacher in one of the most prestigious high schools of Paris: Henri IV. Even though he is happy when the life he has, a series of circumstances force him to accept a job in a high school of one of the most troublesome and underprivileged suburbs of the city. There, he finds himself confronted to his own limits and the situation he is in make him question his own values.

The film is directed by Oliver Ayache Vidal, known by other works like 'Coming-out' (2005), 'Undercover' (2002) or 'Welcome to China' (2013), and it has the actors Denis Podalydès and Abdoulaye Diallo portraying the main characters of the film.
