The Tale of King Crab

'The Tale of King Crab' is the new film by Italian directors Alessio Rigo de Righi and Matteo Zoppis.

The film is set in Italy at the end of the 19th century. During a revolt in a small village against the local prince, Luciano, under the influence of alcohol, accidentally kills his lover. To pay for his crime, he is forced into exile on the most remote and lonely island in the world. It`s known as Tierra del Fuego, in Argentina. The search for hidden treasure from an ancient shipwreck on the island becomes his chance for redemption.

The film's cast includes Maria Alexandra Lungu, Dario Levy, Mariano Arce, Jorge Prado, Severino Sperandio, Gabriele Silli, Daniel Tur, Bruno di Giovanni and Ercole Colnago.

The screenplay is by the aforementioned directors, Tommaso Bertani and Carlo Lavagna. Simone D'Arcangelo will be in charge of the photography, while Vittorio Giampietro will be in charge of the music of the new film 'The Tale of King Crab'.

'The Tale of King Crab' has an approximate running time of 106 minutes, is not recommended for children under 12 years of age, and will arrive in all spanish theaters on October 14, 2022.

The film will be distributed in Spain by Vitrine Filmes and by Oscilloscope in the United States of America.
