'The Silent Storm' is a british drama that tells the story of Balor (Damian Lewis), a local Minister of a remote Scottish island in permanent struggle to keep the members of his community together. However, it won't be the only conflict experienced by the impulsive and temperamental Balor: his marriage with the young Aislin (Andrea Riseborough) pass through difficult times. Therefore, when both meet a rugged 17-year-old delinquent called Fionn (Ross Anderson) and Aislin begins to develop an intense passion for the boy, the couple's life starts unraveling.

The film is written and directed by Corinna McFarlane and its soundtrack is composed by Alastair Caplin.
