The Silent Hour

Frank Shaw (Joel Kinnaman), an agent that works in the Boston Homicide Department, is a defender of the law who hunts criminals. Frank plans a careful ambush on a mafia gang, but the operation goes wrong and the fugitives run away. While chasing one of the criminals, the agent is accidentally run over, fact that makes him lose his hearing.

In the assimilation moment, Frank carefully considers leaving the police department because he does not believe he can be competent under his new condition. However, his partner Doug (Mark Strong) insists on him continuing the case for finishing the criminal gang. His ability to interpret sign language allows him to find out that Ava (Sandra Mae Frank), a deaf woman, has witnessed a murder in a building.

However, Frank and Doug's new mission will be protecting Ada, because a team of corrupt police officers break into her house and try to eliminate her for having witnessed the crime. Luckily, Frank and Doug manage to get rid of their former colleagues. However, will both Frank and Doug manage to achieve their goal and emerge victorious?
