The Shallows

Jaume Collet -Serra directs this film with a screenplay by Anthony Jaswinski. Starring Blake Lively, known for TV series like 'Gossip Girl'. The film centers on Nancy, a young medical student who arrives at a secret paradise beach in Mexico. The reason for her visit to this beach is the death of her mother, seeking redemption. One of her passions is surfing, Nancy will cross the surf quietly until a white shark in her way. The surfer will struggle to survive in a face-to- face with one of the boldest sea dangers. Nancy begin an exercise of reflection on her own life and the desire to excel that her mother taught her. The problem is that not have much time, starting a race against survival in which the shark will not give any chance.
