The Rose Maker

'The Rose Maker' tell us the story of Eve Vernet, a woman who was once the largest producer of roses, but nowadays is on the verge of bankruptcy, embittered and also about to have her plantation of roses being bought by a powerful competitor. Suddenly Véra, her faithful secretary, makes the decision to hire three employees without any knowledge of gardening, an idea as crazy as it is brilliant and that could change their lives forever. These three people come from a special social reintegration program and their help will be key to prevent a powerful businessman who works in the gardening sector from taking over Eve's rose plantation. Together, they will come up with a crazy plan with the aim of changing the fate of this family business to which Eve Vernet has dedicated so many years of her life. The film is about the search for beauty, something that in Eve's case justifies the years of dedication that she has devoted to take care of her field of roses.

The film is directed by Pierre Pinaud, who is also responsible for the script with Fadette Drouard, in collaboration with Phillipe Leguay. The film features the veteran Catherine Frot ('Marguerite'), accompanied by actors like Olivia Côte, Melan Omerta, Marie Petiot and Vincent Dedienne.
