The Roads Not Taken

The last work of the British Sally Potter ('Orlando', 'The lesson of tango', 'The Party') is 'The Roads Not Taken'. In this film the life of Leo is followed for 24 hours, played by Javier Bardem ('Skyfall', 'No country for old men', 'Mondays in the sun') and Molly, played by Elle Fanning ('Super 8', 'The Neon Demon', 'Maleficent'), father and daughter, while she suffers the consequences and challenges of dealing with Leo's chaotic mental state.

As they roam the urban streets of New York, their day turns to a psychotropic journey of epic levels in which the father enters and leaves a variety of parallel lives he could have had. He enters and leaves a marriage with his first childhood love Dolores. From a drummer fighting for his career in Manhattan with his successful lover, Adam. A lonely life on a Greek island.

The film was released on March 13 in the United States, with a duration of 85 minutes.
