The Quiet Son

Pierre Hohenberg (Vincent Lindon) is a French father who raises his two teenage children alone after the death of his wife. He balances his home life with his job in the railway industry to pay for Louis's (Stefan Crepon) university, who leaves home to attend the Sorbonne in Paris. He has always been the more studious counterpart to his brother, Fus (Benjamin Voisin), who is more temperamental.

His brother's move causes Fus to become more reserved over time and spend more time on the streets. Pierre discovers that his son is hanging out with some ultras who cause disturbances, paint in the streets, and sow chaos during sporting events. Beyond that, the father suspects that these individuals may be linked to fascist ideologies, so he must get Fus out of there before it's too late.

'The Quiet Son' is a film directed by the directors Delphine Coulin and Muriel Coulin. They both write the script based on the book by author Laurent Petitmangin. Flamingo Films is the company responsible for distributing the title in Spanish theaters. 'The Quiet Son' arrives in national cinemas on June 20 after being screened at the 2024 Venice Film Festival, where it debuted. The film has donde a great box office at France.
