Plot

This animation movie was directed by Ivo Caprino and performed for the first time in 1975. Using the technique of stop-motion throughout the movie, the story follows the characters created by Kjell Aukrust, Norwegian draftsman and writer. Set in the village of Flåklypa, the plot is centered in Reodor Felgen, inventor who lives with a sad and depressed porcupine and a happy bird full of life. Reodor fixes bicycles for living but, during his free time, he creates new designs to make new inventions. One day, one of his old assistants steals him one of his designs and, with the help of his friends, he will have to face him. As of today, 'The Pinchcliffe Grand Prix' is the most viewed Norwegian film of all time.
