The Permanent Picture

Antonia is a teenage mother who lives in a southern village. One night, Antonia disappears and fifty years later and lots of kilometers to the North, an introverted casting director named Carmen meets Antonia.

The casting director was looking for people who could share their memories after changing cities. During her research she notices an impulsive woman, an ambulant saleswoman who invades her solitude. Carmen will figure out that she has more things in common with her than she expected. Even if at first sight, they are the complete opposite.

Antonia's impulsiveness takes over Carmen's solitude, who said that time helas all wounds? Directed by Laura Ferrés, director of the multiple times awarded short film: 'Los desheredados'.

It's also written by Ferrés, along with Carlos Vermut and Ulises Porra, 'The Permanent Image' tells a story that unites drama with dry humor. "A depressing comedy" is how the author describes this film.
