Plot
'The Party' is a British drama comedy written and directed by Sally Potter ('Ginger & Rosa', 'The Man Who Cried', 'Orlando'). The film premieres for the first time at the Berlin International Film Festival. The tape revolves around a tragedy. Janet (Kristin Scott Thomas) is a London politician that has just been named Minister of Health. To celebrate the news, along with her husband Bill (Timothy Spall), organizes a great celebration in her elegant home and invites her closest acquaintances, including her best friend in April (Patricia Clarkson). The party, which began as a celebration, gradually became a nightmare full of hate, resentment and vengeance for those present. Presented in the Official Selection of the 67th Berlin Film Festival and the Official Selection of the 62nd edition of the Seminci.
