Plot
Directed by Aki Kaurismäki. In the Finnish capital, Helsinki, two forgotten men from society meet. On the one hand is Wikhström, a fifty years old man who, tired of his monotonous life, decides to open a restaurant and thus fulfill one of his dreams. For Wikhström is not easy, but the fact of changing his life, at an age when it seems that everything is done, it's exciting. On the other hand is Khaled, a young Syrian refugee man who has fled from his country, terrified by the war that is fought in Syria and by the slaughter of the ISIS. Khaled has arrived in Helsinki by pure chance but it is his intention to stay to have a chance in life. Unfortunately, his application for asylum is rejected and, in theory, he must leave the country. However, the young man decides to stay, in the fear of dying if he is deported. One afternoon, Wikhström finds Khaled at the door of his restaurant. Despite not having much, he decides to offer his help.
