The Odd-Job Men

Valero, Moha and Pep work in a small company of electricity and plumbing. The movie tells the releationships between them and their clients, all extravagant and specials. In six different episodes, the daily working routine of the protagonist are portrayed. Each chapter corresponds to a day of its week and tells the relationship that is created between the protagonists and the buyers who have requested their services.

Directed and written by Neus Ballús, the cast of the film 'Seis días corrientes' is headed by actors Valero Escolar, Mohamed Mellali, Pep Sarrà and Pau Ferran.

Ballús explains that he was inspired by his father when creating the film: "My father is a plumber. I heard all kinds of stories over the years about his work and the strange situations he encountered in the homes of clients. Over the years I have been impressed by the prejudices and complexities that these situations revealed.

At 'Six Ordinary Days' we worked for three years with all kinds of real workers and customers, including the magnificent trio of plumbers, on a story based on their real lives. There are rich and poor, young and old, of endless origins and ethnicities, and a wide range of life perspectives. When these characters interact, they must take into account their own prejudices and those that awaken in others".
