The Next Skin

The story of 'The Next Skin' takes place in a village of the borderline of the Spanish Pyrenees. There, one woman that believed her son was dead or missing for 8 years, gets a call that tells her son, who is now a teenage, may have appeared at a reformatory institution in France.

The young man will be reunited with his family and he will return to his normal life, where everything turned different after his disappearance. However, the identity of the adolescent is not clear, and his mother will start to hesitate if this really is her son or instead an impostor.

The movie is directed by Isaki Lacuesta and Isa Campo, the cast includes the likes of Emma Suárez ('Julieta'), Àlex Monner ('Los niños salvajes', 'Pulseras rojas'), Bruno Todeschini ('Su hermano', 'Un couple parfait') and Sergi López ('Un día perfecte per volar', 'Pan's Labyrinth').
