The New Kid

Rudi Rosenberg, make his directing debut with The New Kid, a small and clever film that deals with issues as friendship and integration always in a comedy point of view.

Benoit, who is 14 old, leaves his live in the countryside and moves to Paris with his parents and his particular uncle. His first week at school turns more complicated than he expected, due to nobody talks to him, and Charles, leader of te "cool crew", mock at him. Everything changes when Johanna, the new Swedish student arrives to his class, and they start spend much time together, even out of school.

However, Johanna is finally accepted by Charles and his friends, an Benoit became isolated again, so he decides to follow his uncle advices to win back her. During this journey he will find the unconditional friendship.
