The New Girlfriend

François Ozon directs this new French melodrama, based on the novel 'The New Girlfriend' by Ruth Rendell, published in 1985. The film tells the story of Claire, a woman who after the death of Laura, her best friend, she must make against a deep depression. One day, Claire discover that David, the husband of her friend -dresses for women. The problem that arises is: what has led him to David to do this? Is it the absence of his wife? Or is it really an identity crisis? From this point it will begin a search for identity.
