The Music of Strangers

The documentary follows the acclaimed cellist Yo Yo Ma and some of his old musical collaborators. A diverse group of some instrumentalists as Kayhan Kalhor, Wu Man, Kinan, Cristina Pato. The group talk about his philosophy of music, culture, art and its own beginnings in 1998. The film is inspired by the meeting of musicians by 2000. It's directed and produced by Morgan Neville, known for his long career as a documentary filmmaker in 'Best of Enemies', 'Independent Lens' '20 feet from stardom', among others.
