The Mountain Between Us

Alex Martin, a young woman on her way to her wedding and Ben Bass, a reputable surgeon who is urgently required, will see their plans ruined when their flight to Baltimore gets delayed.

In desperation, Alex and Ben decide to rent a plane in order to reach their destinations in time. However, their plans do not go as they planned. The pilot of the plane suffers a heart attack mid-flight causing the plane to crash in the middle of nowhere, but near the mountains of Colorado. There, the two face the greatest challenge of their lives, trying to survive under extreme conditions without anyone knowing where they are. While the two hurry to find a way out of their desperate situation, romantic feelings arise between them.

Director Hany Abu-Assad (Idol) directs this survival drama with Kate Winslet and Idris Elba adapting the novel by Charles Martin.
