The Monster Squad

Horror-comedy picture released on 1987, directed by filmmaker Fred Dekker and written by Shane Black, 'The Monster Squad' brings all the classic Universal monsters together (Drácula, Frankenstein's monster, the wolf-man, the mummy and the Creature of the Black Lagoon). The film tells the story of a group of kids who will have to face these monsters on a fight between good and evil that takes place every hundred years, and unluckily for the citizens of a small and peaceful town, this is the year... The everyday life of the good people from the town is altered by the arrival of a strange character and his even stranger companions, as they seem to be set on their goal, finding by any means necessary an amulet that has the power to control the balance between good and evil.
