Plot
Thomas Jerome Newton, played by David Bowie, is an extraterrestial who comes to Earth from the planet Anthea, his mission is to get water for his planet, that is dying. Once on Earth, will begin to rise socially and economically to achieve their purpose, using their technological expertise to invent things on our planet. He begins to work in a technology company, his plan is to use the money from the company to manufacture spacecraft that carry water to their planet. Thomas also meets Mary-Lou, a gentle and hardworking girl he starts out with, without her knowing that he is not from the same planet as her. Cult film based on a novel of the same title.
