The Mad Monkey

'The Mad Monkey' is a 1989 movie directed by Fernando Trueba, and with a very international cast. Jeff Goldblum and Miranda Richardson play very important parts in this movie. The story follows Dan Gilis, an American writer that receives the task to write the screenplay of a new movie during his stay in Paris. Dan, lately, has a pretty messed up personal life. He is no longer with his wife, and must take care of his son Danny. Malcom, the director of the movie, is a very weird individual too. When Dan meets his sister, Jenny, he begins to feel a strange fascination with this mysterious girl. Together, they will begin a very odd relationship that is almost incestuous. As time passes by, Dan will realize that maybe he is being used.
