'The Lobster' trivia and fun facts

This is director Yorgos Lanthimos' first English-language feature length film.

The production worked almost entirely with natural light and without make-up. Lighting was only used for some night scenes.

Mainly filmed in and around the Parknasilla Hotel in Sneem, County Kerry in Ireland.

Colin Farrell plays the only named character in the whole film.

Jason Clarke was cast in the lead role but he dropped out due to scheduling conflicts.
