The Last Sunset

Robert Aldrich adapts a novel written by Howard Rigsby with 'The Last Sunset' with a script by famous Dalton Trumbo . A classic western, tells the story of Brendan O'Malley, a former gunman, who crosses the border with Mexico to escape justice for a murder he committed. In Mexico reaches the farm of his former love, Belle Breckenridge, who lives by the cowardly and alcoholic husband, John Breckeridge and her daughter Melissa. O'Malley immediately falls on of the charms of Melissa, that reminds him Belle when they were together for years ago. The sheriff Dana Stribing goes in search of O'Malley and reaches the ranch where he is, there Breckenridge agrees to give the ex-gunman when he reaches in Texas. Along the way Belle will begin to be attracted to the sheriff, while the relationship between O'Malley and Melissa will become increasingly narrow, complicating the situation in which they find themselves.
