The Invitation

'The Invitation' is a psychological thriller directed by filmmaker Karyn Kusama and written by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi.

This film is focused on Logan Marshall-Green's character, Will, who has been invited over his old house to a dinner party by his ex wife, Eden (Tammy Blanchard). They once had a good relationship until they lost their son in a tragic accident. Two years later, after disappearing without notice and losing contact with everybody, he's surprised she had the time to invite him over to that dinner party where he will meet Eden's new husband David (Michiel Huisman). The way his ex wife acts and all the mystery surround her old friends, Will will begin to think that there's something suspicious in that unusual invitation.
