Plot

In Summer 2018 we will attend the anticipated sequel of 'The Incredibles', which introduced us to the superhero family with special powers formed by Bob (Mr. Increible), Helen (Elastigirl) Violeta, Dash and Jack Jack. 14 years after the release of the first film the main character will face a new threat: The Underminer. At the same time, 'The Incredibles 2' will be centered in Elastigirl, who will be campaigning for the return of superheroes now that they're illegals. On the other hand, Mr. Increible remains at home taking care of their children, doing the home chores and dealing with the discovery of Jack Jack's superpowers. When the new enemy prepares his wicked plan, all the family and Frozono will have to join forces and find the way to work together.

Brad Bird, the director of the first film, has confirmed his participation on the project.

Trivia

The longest

At 1 hour and 58 minutes, 'Incredibles 2' (2018) is not only the longest Pixar Animation Studios film to date, but also the longest computer-animated feature film to date.

Brad Bird

Director Brad Bird had stated over the years that he would only do a sequel to 'The Incredibles' (2004) if he could come up with a story that was just as good as, or better than, its predecessor. The idea of Bob/Mr. Incredible becoming a stay-at-home dad while Helen/Elastigirl becomes the breadwinner was there from the very beginning, but it took years for Bird to come up with the perfect story to write this idea around.

Good bye Dash

For this film, Huck Milner took over voicing Dash, as the character's original voice actor Spencer Fox's voice had deepened since the first film.
